Delicious lettuce, the variety suited for Malaysia tropical lowland cultivation

I planted some seeds of leafy lettuces that i bought from local agriculture supplier. It grew well in hydroponics. It took about 30 days to mature from seed. That is very fast growth rate. Record breaking.

But the same seeds planted in soil and compost failed to develop. They were slow and infected with fungus from the compost, even though it was an expensive compost.

So in my experience, planting lettuces in hydroponics is the best and most guaranteed successful crops of green leaf lettuces.

Green leafy lettuces is packed with nutrients. In fact any form of green leafy cultivar or variety of lettuces are full of nutrients.

Grown in hydroponics means faster harvesting, more nutritious, guaranteed success, no bacteria, no fungus, very easy without dirt, easy to wash and clean to eat fresh as salad.

Note: Do not plant head lettuces. They don't grow in hot tropical lowland and tend to bolt (flowering) early. This will make it stop producing leaf and failed to form a head. It also becomes bitter. Head lettuces also lack of nutrient because the leaves are folded and not exposed to sunlight for photosynthesis.

My hydroponic local leafy lettuces planted outdoor.
