Planting Cherry Tomatoes in Hydroponics

I planted F1 Hybrid cherry tomato plants in hydroponics under tropical lowland climate. The temperature at midday reaches approximately 38 degree Celcius, that is above 100 degree Fahrenheit. One is likely to say...NO NO NO...it is hopeless for tomatoes at such roasting hot temperature. I thought of planting some and see how it goes. Here is the results.

Cherry Tomatoes tolerates high temperature reasonably well if provided with partial shading during hottest time of the day.

NOTE: Do not plant tomato on land or using soil. This is because they tend to suffer root rot and basal stem rot caused by Phytophtora mould.

Always use HYDROPONICS method. Safe you the hassle of buying tons of infected dirty compost and soil which causes diseases to your lovely plants.
